Rioted by one of the great predecessors of American Bank Note Company. the Draper. Welsh. and Company of Philadelphia. The engravings include portraits of George Washington. Henry Clay. Benjamin Franklin. and William Penn.
The main vignette at top center of Independence Hall is most impressive: a dock scene with paddle wheeler in background. steam locomotive, blacksmith, young girl with wheat bundle, and a bridge scene. Denominations and interest vary.
